Build the bond with your baby
Most mums have an instant bond with their baby – and learning how to massage is a wonderful opportunity to relax, soothe and connect with your baby. Plus massaging your baby comes with so many additional benefits:
- Learn to recognise and respond to baby’s cues and to communicate through nurturing touch.
- Promotes bonding and secure attachment.
- Helps relieve gas, colic and teething discomfort.
- Can reduce excessive crying and improve sleep.
- Give you the opportunity to interact with other new parents and make friends along the way.
Touch contributes the most to healthy developmental growth in the early months.
But there’s more to massage than just placing your hands and moving them around. The good news is that you can learn how to do it properly.
