The Fascial Effect Injuries

Injuries

Why let your body limit your life?

Injuries put a brake on your day-to-day activities. At best they can limit some movements, at worst they can incapacitate you completely.

It’s ironic that trying to be fit is often the cause of sprains and strains that cause you to be anything but totally healthy. But you don’t have to be a gym-bunny to get soft tissue injuries – just walking about is all it takes! In fact, you can get injuries from sitting in a chair.

Whether you’ve ‘pulled a muscle’, strained a ligament or sprained your ankle or wrist it will take time to recover, but the right treatments can speed up that recovery.

In the early stages of injury, myofascial release helps reduce the spasm around the injury increasing blood and lymph flow so that the healing process is supported.

In the later stages or in older injuries, myofascial release reduces tension in and around the injury and throughout the body to reduce pain and restore ease of movement.

If you’ve been injured, help your body recover – book your treatment now, call me on 07775 633798.
